Only 3; quality not quantity!!

1st bike;
1982 Kawasaki 750 CSR - Bought it used in Dec. 1985 with 1,200 miles on it and rode it 'til I bought the Vulcan. Not sure what the final odometer reading was because the speedo broke in Oct. '88 with approx. 17,000 miles on it and I never bothered to replace it.

2nd bike;
1995 Kawasaki Vulcan 800A (Great bike!!) - Bought it used in Feb. 1998 with 3,900 miles on it. Rode it 'til I bought the Road Star. It's semi-retired now with 71,000 miles on it.

3rd bike;
2005 Yamaha 1700 Road Star Silverado - Bought it used in Feb. 2006 with
1,600 miles on it. Current mileage is about 21,000 miles. I just hope I get as many trouble-free miles out of it as I did the Vulcan.

*** I've owned several Triumphs, usually for short periods, because I would sell them to make a little extra cash. Always tinkering, would either bob, or chop one. Usually have two or three at any given time tinkering on. Seems like that has been a trend all my life.
These next two were my favorites that I kept around a while. Eventually they to went when someone would offer me more than I could resist.
1968 Triumph Bonneville (chopper of course)
1967 Triumph Tiger (chopped trike, harley servicar rear end, springer frontend 12-14 over, fiberglass body). This one was great to ride when I couldn't stand up. Hey, ya gotta remember the era!!
1973 Yamaha TX750 (Chopped of course) I believe the TX750s were made for three years. A lot of people didn't like them, but after several Triumphs, I thought maintenance was pretty cool on these. I think this one spoiled me. Only bike I've had that was stolen!!
1971 HD Sportster 900cc (Nice bike, reminded me of the Triumphs)
1972 HD Sportster 1000cc (Bobbed) Sold this one to pay an attorney, still lost my license 3 1/2 years!! .
1973 Honda CB750 (This one started me on my CB750 Oddessy, ) I've had several since then. In fact, I still have two, that I've had for a while.

I don't have much extra time anymore, So I pretty much fix them up for me now.

I guess since I can only list 3, they'll be the most memorable, and only street bikes, although I had several dirt bikes that I bought from money earned from mowing lawns from the time I was in second grade.

1. 1980 Honda CB750F; I bought it almost new when I was a sophomore in high school. It had a Supertrapp 4 into 1 pipe. It was a fast bike...

2. 1978 Yamaha RD400. It had mad wheels, disc brakes, and an aftermarket pipe, I can't remember what brand the pipe was. Even though it was only a 400, it was definitely the fastest bike I've ever owned. That bike was scary fast.

3. By far my favorite bike is my 2001 Road Star. I've put more miles on her than any other bike...

As I said a year ago.........We sure have helped keep the industry alive (and well) .BB

1) 78 CB750K Four Honda (Black) bought new for the ridiculous tag price of 2,686$ ;

2) 99 VF750 Honda Magna, loved its 89HP (Italian Red) brand new ;

3) 01 Yamaha V-Star Classic 1100 (Dark Blue) brand new ;

4) 02 Yamaha Road Star 1600 (Dark Blue Metallic) brand new ;

Each and every one of these bikes has a story of its own, brings fantastic memories.

First bike i had was a moped back in 1974, it was 49cc solex.
Since then i have owned about 30 to 35 bikes, to many to remember but this is some i do:1972 cz125 sport
1974 suzuki gt550 and a 73 gt750
75 honda cb360, 78 cb550,78 xl100, 80 cb400 hawk
76 kz900 kawasaki,kz400 and 440
1974 tx650, still own that one.Couple of xs 650 choppers that i have built. 78 xs1100 chopper and a 78 xs1100 stock that i still own and the latest a 01 roadstar.

Yeah, a Roadstar 1600. My brother got an '07 Street Glide 96 Cu.In. and put the 103 kit on it and can't keep up with my 2001 98 Cu.In. Roadstar
